Purpose of the Eucor label

The purpose of the Eucor label is to identify and promote projects in the fields of research, training and transfer as well as at any other level that support the objectives of the European grouping of territorial cooperation (EGTC) Eucor – The European Campus. It can thus be awarded to an educational or scientific project as well as to a cultural or sporting project as long as the said project conveys the values of cooperation, exchange and interculturality which form the basis of the European campus.

Requirements

To be awarded the Eucor label, a project must involve at least two member universities or be organised mainly by one member university explicitly for students and/or staff from all member universities. Projects also involving partners from outside the European Campus may be awarded the label.

A few examples:

  • a research project involving three member universities can be awarded the Eucor label, regardless of the subject matter;
  • a cultural or sporting event bringing together students from several member universities can be granted the Eucor label;
  • a project promoting mobility, cooperation or interculturality at the Upper Rhine level may receive the Eucor label.

How to apply for the Eucor label and why?

Applications can be submitted using the form below. You will be asked to provide a short description of the project and the contact details of the person responsible.

Any project awarded the label receives permission to use the Eucor logo in its communication. The Eucor coordinators at the member universities are systematically informed about the award of the label to the project. The activities and events organised as part of the project can also be promoted through the European Campus website (eucor-uni.org), the EGTC’s social media channels and its newsletter, which is regularly sent to political, academic and business decision-makers.
