Cross-Border Education Grant

The Cross-Border Education Grant of the University of Basel is intended to support cooperation projects in teaching within the trinational university network Eucor – The European Campus, which, in addition to the University of Basel, includes the universities of Freiburg, Strasbourg, Haute-Alsace and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Funding is available for innovative bi- and multinational courses in the fall semester 2024 and spring semester 2025, which are taught by lecturers of the University of Basel in cooperation with at least one Eucor partner university and are aimed for Master students and/or post/doctoral students. Teaching and networking activities will be supported with up to 4’000 CHF per project. The deadline for applications is April 15, 2024, and the funding decision will be announced on April 30, 2024 at the latest.

The University of Basel is via Eucor since 2022 also an associate member of the European University Alliance EPICUR – European Partnership for an Innovative Campus Unifying Regions. Accordingly, lecturers from the Universities of Amsterdam (Amsterdam, Netherlands), Southern Denmark (Odense, Denmark), Adam Mickiewicz (Poznań, Poland), Natural Resources and Life Sciences (Vienna, Austria) and Aristotele (Thessaloniki, Greece) – in addition to lecturers from the University of Basel and at least one Eucor University – can also be co-applicants for the Cross-Border Education Grant.
